Baby Swimming Lessons for Under One's
Senior Jellyfish
Our Senior Jellyfish level is designed for babies between 8 months 1 week and 12 months. This class is ideal for those progressing on from our Junior Jellyfish level, or for babies joining us for the first time within this age range.

At this stage, babies are developing stronger motor skills and coordination, allowing them to participate more actively in the water. Lessons introduce gentle challenges and a wider range of movements, helping build confidence, balance, and enjoyment in the pool.

Our instructors provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for every baby and caregiver. We recognise that all babies progress at their own pace, so every activity is adapted to suit each child, ensuring positive experiences without pressure.

Senior Jellyfish classes take place on Friday and Sunday mornings at the Aquadome Pool in Mt Victoria.
Class Details
Classes in the Jellyfish level are 30mins long and one caregiver is in the water with their baby at all times.
The first 5 minutes of the lesson are unstructured and allow for parents and babies to slowly become acclimatised in the water.
Wherever possible we recommend that the same caregiver attends all lessons.
Class Content
This a fun and engaging level full of songs and splashing and is designed to foster a love of the water and create a bonding experience for you and your baby.
In this level you will build towards taking and releasing your baby underwater so that they will become familiar with basic cues and instructions.

You can book our Jellyfish classes online. Bookings open approximately four weeks before the term starts and our term dates can be found here.
What to Bring
A disposable or reusable nappy to go under your wetsuit/waterproof nappy. We recommend Huggies Little Swimmers.
A waterproof nappy or wetsuit with an inbuilt nappy made from neoprene material. We recommend Happy Nappy Wetsuits which we offer as part of our Rental Wetsuit System or sell here.
Towels for the caregiver and your baby.
Appropriate togs/swimwear for the caregiver participating in the lesson.
